70 Illegal Parking Attendants in Central Jakarta Netted

As many as 70 illegal parking attendants were netted by joint officers from the Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency, Satpol PP, Social Agency (Dinsos), Police, and army (TNI), in raids held in several locations.

The raid and guidance will be intensified until the end of June

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Acting Head, Edy Sufa'at said these illegal parking attendants were caught while operating in the courtyards of 57 minimarkets spread across eight sub-districts.

"This is the result of the control that we held three weeks ago. It is a routine agenda twice every week," he expressed, Wednesday (6/5).

He explained his party was only collecting data and asking them to make a statement to not repeat the same mistake. "The raid and guidance will be intensified until the end of June," he explained.

Road Traffic and Transportation Operational Control Section Head, Haryo Bagus added that each time the raid activity involved 30 to 40 joint officers.

"Priority for sweeping locations is according to reports from residents or monitoring results from officers," he stated.
